My Story
I have dedicated my 20+ year career leading nonprofit organizations to strategically fight for justice in our unjust system. I have a strong background in nonprofit external relations and a deep commitment to expanding opportunities for real change across the country and beyond. As both a consultant and in-house leader, I've been privileged to help issue-oriented organizations develop lasting support by telling the stories of their constituents - both broadly as a marketer and communicator, and more intimately as a steward of sound fundraising principles. I've held executive, development, and program leadership roles for both small- and mid-sized nonprofits where I used the lens of my early career as a community organizer - a perspective that regularly allows me to pull from a unique set of expertise - to help organizations balance the reality of survival while accomplishing their goals.
